Something stuck?
The five things that usually go wrong, and the fix for each. Most take two minutes.
Payments don't show up
You see: the setup page still says Waiting under Payments after a test payment.
Why: Razorpay only tells us about payments once its webhook is added in your Razorpay dashboard, with our URL, the secret and the right events.
- Razorpay → Account & Settings → Webhooks. Is there one with our URL (setup page, step 2)? If not, add it.
- Open it: Active Events must include payment.captured, payment.authorized, payment.failed and refund.processed.
- Secret: on the setup page press show the secret and paste it again (a single wrong character fails every payment silently).
- Check you're in Live mode in Razorpay, not Test mode, if your sales are live.
- Make a ₹1 payment on your checkout.
It's fixed when: step 2 on the setup page turns green and the ₹1 sale is listed under Live check.
The WordPress plugin says the connect code is wrong
You see: “Code expired or already used” in WordPress → Settings → TrackMyFunnel.
Why: A connect code works once and only for 30 minutes, so it can't be reused or leaked later.
- On the setup page, step 3, press show a connect code for a fresh one.
- Paste it within 30 minutes; type it exactly (letters and dashes, no spaces).
- Still failing? Check the plugin is active (Plugins page) and that your site can reach the internet (some hosts block outgoing calls; ask them to allow app.trackmyfunnel.com).
It's fixed when: the plugin says Connected and a visit to your site shows on the setup page.
Meta says the token is wrong or the account isn't found
You see: “Meta: …” in red under Meta ads, or spend never arrives.
Why: The token must belong to a system user that has your ad account assigned, with ads_read, and must not expire.
- business.facebook.com → Settings → Users → System users → your TrackMyFunnel user.
- Assign assets → Ad accounts → tick your account → View performance → Assign.
- Generate token → Token expiration Never → tick ads_read → copy the whole token.
- Ad account id: digits only (Ads Manager, top left), without act_.
- Paste both on the setup page, step 4, and press Check with Meta.
It's fixed when: step 4 says “Meta found (your account)”; yesterday's spend appears within the hour.
Sales show “waiting for a product”
You see: the dashboard says payments are waiting for a product.
Why: Razorpay Payment Pages don't say which page a payment came from, and we never guess a product from the amount.
- Razorpay → Payment Pages → your page → Edit.
- Add an input field labelled exactly
product_namewhose value is your product's name (hide it, or use a one-option dropdown). - Save, then make a ₹1 payment on that page.
- For sales already waiting: Dashboard → the waiting note → Review and assign.
It's fixed when: the new ₹1 sale shows its product name on the setup page's Live check.
No visits from my website
You see: the setup page still says Waiting under Your website after you opened your site.
Why: The line must be on every page, inside the page's head, on the exact address you gave us (the key works only there).
- Open your site, right-click → View page source, search for
jb.js. Not there? The line wasn't saved, or a cache plugin serves an old page: clear it. - It must sit before
</head>, not inside another script or a comment. - Address: www and non-www are different sites. Make the snippet again on the setup page for the address your visitors use.
- Using Google Tag Manager? After importing our file you must press Submit → Publish.
- Ad blockers can hide your own visits: test in a private window with blockers off.
It's fixed when: step 3 says “the first visit arrived … on /your-page”.
